Rev. Larry Baird, has been the senior pastor 28 years, helping preserve and establish the church at its original location in Abilene, Texas. We believe in One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, and we are an outreach to the lost and misguided in our community. We believe that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, came to earth and dwelt among men, women and children. We believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins and when he was buried, our sins were forever buried (forgiven). This is demonstrated in baptism by submersion. As one comes up from the watery grave, one is reborn and is a new creature in Christ. We also believe the Holy Bible is the infalible word of Almighty God and there is no other on earth. We beleive in Acts 2:38.”Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” We beleive that the Holy Ghost is evidence by speaking in tongues.
